5th Edition of the Corsica Classic regatta

Open to all traditional yachts with a CIM rating and 2014 IRC rated “Spirit of Tradition” yachts, the race is one of the official races in the Comité International de la Méditerranée and the French Association of Traditional Yachts (AFYT) programme. In four edi-tions, it has become a major sporting and lifestyle event in the Mediterranean.
From Calvi to Bonifacio, in Girolata, Porto, the Calanches de Piana, Ajaccio, Porto Pollo, Por-to-Vecchio and more… So many names that evoke the beauty of Corsica are on the programme of the Corsica Classic 2014.
The daytime inshore races, approximately 20 nau-tical miles each, will take yachts to exceptional anchorages every evening, where a warm welcome awaits crews, the public and yachting professionals. The fleet of prestigious yachts from around the world comes to challenge SY Sky Lark, Los Angeles Yacht Club’s flagship vessel, and overall winner of the 2013 edition. New classes will join the fleet for the 5th edition.

• Dimanche 24 / 08 / 2014 : Départ de Calvi – Girolata.
• Lundi 25 / 08 / 2014 : Départ Girolata – Ajaccio.
• Mardi 26 / 08 / 2014 : Départ Ajaccio – plage de Cala d’Orzu.
• Mercredi 27 / 08 / 2014 : Départ Porto Pollo – Bonifacio.
• Jeudi 28 / 08 / 2014 : Départ Bonifacio – Porto Vecchio.
• Vendredi 29 / 08 / 2014 : Départ Porto Vecchio – Santa Giulia.
• Samedi 30 / 08 / 2014 : Départ Santa Giulia – Bonifacio.
• Dimanche 31 / 08 / 2014 : Départ Bonifacio – Bonifacio.
